The initial ask for this project was to remove the existing jetted tub and small neo angle shower in the owner bathroom and replace them with a large walk-in shower.

This recently retired couple wanted to create a new,
updated, stylish space. The homeowners requested the re-use of the existing oak vanity, vanity light, mirror, and oak moldings. The homeowners felt the vanity was in sound condition and was not worth the investment to replace it. The light bar was saved at the adamant request of the husband. We were unable to convince him of the trade off in brightness to switch to new fixture(s).

New large (12 x 24) white marble look tile with a dash of blue veining was used on the floor. A large (12 x 24) complimentary blue tile was used on the shower walls and built in bench as well as the entire back wall of the bathroom. It creates a stunning focal point in the space.

The use of chrome fixtures co-ordinates with the color scheme of the tile. Cambria vanity top in Carrick, nicely compliments the blue in the tile as well as the warm oak vanity. Custom oak shelves were added under the window to compliment the oak vanity and existing trim as well as provide a place for towel/ sundry storage.
