This is the renovation of the kitchen in a 1920’s Craftsman Bungalow home. The clients wanted to maximize the space in this small kitchen and add details reminiscent of the Craftsman style to compliment the home. Cabinet space was increased by adding pullouts and corner cabinets and also extending the cabinets to the ceiling. Additional work area was created by changing the layout, and counter space was increased by adding a built-in space for the microwave. Additional overhead and under cabinet lighting was added and the views to all the windows and doors were opened to provide additional light to the small space. Improved function, comfort and style was achieved without adding any additional space to the home.
